New forum = laggy?

It seems like in some threads it is a pain to type anything because what you type isn't immediately put onto the screen. Is this a problem with the new forum-style or is it a problem on my end?

Not sure if adjustments to your pc are needed due to the new forum, but you are not the only one with this issue and SWF is aware, so, hopefully, it will get resolved soon.

The IT folks are having difficulty replicating the problem. And I haven't experienced it myself. Can someone describe when and where it happens, and what operating system you can using.

Windows xp-Home edition(2002).
It happens on the topics that have a bunch of posts and/or pics. An example is that I can type on this topic fine, but I can't type on my topic (https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/vb/s...-JBJ-Nano-Cube.) in the nano section very well. The things I type don't show up for about 20-30 seconds after I actually type it.

I've noticed that the forum has lag in the Chrome browser as well. However, just getting the issues solved for IE would solve the biggest problems for most.
