Hi guys

I am starting a new 130g reef tank. I have a 30G which have been running for about a year and a half now so i think it is time to step up my game.
I have 2 clowns, 4 bangai, 1 scopes tang and 2 gobys in the 30G. I also have 2 fire shrimp and 6 turbo snails.
my corals are 1 devils hand, 1 torch, purple mushrooms, 1 toadstool and to many xenias (started with 1 frag Xenia now i have about 40 individuals.
I have had 2 successfully bangai beaches thus far and are expecting the next one within about 2 weeks. Raised 15 till now without live food which one actually need.
Now comes my questions,

1' I have most of the equipment to start of, would like to know what is your opinion on the
EVO Duad Saltwater Coral Reef LED light by GREEN element
10000K white LED and the Actinic Blue 460nm LED. 3-1 ratio 48LED's

2' What is the livestock capacity of a 130G tank. Largest fish im planing to have is 1 or 2 Scopus or yellow tangs. (I like small fish)
3' Would the above mentioned light be sufficient for SPS
4' haw large must my clean-up crew be?

Thanks for all the assistances in advance

Your corals look good but your way over stocked and your tang really needs a much bigger tank

tank looks awsome! the tang will like the upgrade ;). the clean up crew will probally need to be big but i would start with 10 of each snail and add more if needed. you could also throw in a star or two. you could probaly throw in two or three good sized fish with what you already have. idk about the light though, i dont do SPS.

nice tank your definitely due for an upgrade great choice. for my tank I got the ebay leds the 275 watt leds they work just fine for my clam and a montipora coral. I think the evo lights would be nice , for my 185 gal tank I got 4 tangs 3 chromes 2 anthies 2 clowns a watchman goby w pistol shrimp. I think you should be fine with your choice for live stock . just remember your tank is running rich right now so when you upgrade your pulsing xenia mite die off due to low nutrients but should come back once your fully stocked. it happened to me when I upgrade from a 55g to my 185 gal

I wish i had the accesses to the stock you have. Our Import laws are very strict. I will also not be dismantling my 30g i am just starting a second tank.
Will still need lots of advise when i start stocking the tank. might only be mid next year. Our pet shop only get 2 shipments of marine fish per year and then there are only about 5 or 6 difrent ones of fish and corals only ones per year about 2 or 3 different ones

oh man wow you really have it hard were are you located ? even duo you still have a great selection of corals
good thing you can keep both tanks, my wife would not dare me have two tanks in the house :D LOL

LOLOL. I currently have 4 running tanks and 2 empty. I love my wife.
Planing on more in the future. I also do fraging to try and assist my fellow marine buddy's. Just not sure haw to do some without the proper equipment like the acan and torch.

6 tanks  are they all reef or fresh water ? ill be going broke if I had that many tanks LOL:D I would use a bone cutters for the acan and torch coral its messy but it should do the trick

only one reef they the other big one im starting now. the rest are fresh. I am scared to hurt the torch and acan.

they are still pretty small I would wait until its a big colony to frag. I was fragging a ricordia and accidently cut its foot it looked really bad but a week in my tank it got better and now I got two more ricordias if they are doing good in your tank they should bounce right back . corals can heal pretty fast .

By Star I hope you mean Brittle or Serpent Star. Sea Stars need an aged tank. If there's not enough for it to eat, it'll starve. I only have Serpents for that reason.
