my first try at a tang.

my blue hippo tang in the king of the tank and fat to.. he was not like that when he was small but know is big and very aggressive he almost killed my purple tang but my purple started defending himself so they are best friends now drip acclimate is always best its not that hard to do specially if the salinity is different then the LFS tangs get stress very easily so the less you stress the better for it to recover from the move.

In regard acclimate the fish, I watched a video last night, this may be easy way to do, when you get the fish, open the bag, and fold down the top part as much as possible, place the bag into the water, and let them flow, every 15 minutes add 1 oz water from the main tank to the bag, 2 hours later, take out the fish from the bag with your hand and put it to your main tank.

I don't agree with the 2-3 hour acclamation timeeveryone one seems to think these fish need I think it just stresses the fish more to leave him in a bag for 2-3 hour all I've ever done is float the bag I've done this with an Achilles tang that is supposed to be so sensitive that if you look at him wrong he could die.
As far as matching salinity goes I've honestly put a new fish straight into hyposalinity water with no I'll effects. So I think fish aren't as sensitive as we believe.

each fish is affected differently then others and if you’re putting your tangs in a hypo salinity water its better then in a saltier water, At my lfs they have their tangs in a 1.021 salinity and my tank is a 1.025 salinity I think so they don't have ick ... I tried the float method before it worked but my fish suffered with ick I tried the drip method and my fish had no signs of ick. everyone has there methods of doing things all depends on their particular tank, each reefer with experience knows how their tanks work.

I've read of people moving fish from hypo to 1.025 water with no issues I'm saying I recommend that but I think fish aren't as sensitive as we think. As far as the ick goes if it's in your tank your fish will eventually show signs of it and most likely will get it and if your putting this fish in a qt then it shouldn't matter if he shows signs of ick

This one isn't as bad as the other but it's still grossly over stocked and I'm sure he only has one flame angel now and I wouldn't be surprised if his bigger angels killed each other too

I watched two prefect reef-tank videos, both tanks have carol, bicolor and flame angelfish. The main thing is WHO IS IN CHARGE in those tanks.

My point is it have lot of people try to do more than one angelfish, most videos that have more than one angelfish are not bully by other angelfish, especially when you have tang, I will say the tang killed angelfish more than they killed each other.

I guarantee those tanks were just set up and the fish are to scared and there's not enough room for them to claim a spot much like what you see in fish stores. I bet the first two tanks either got shut down after all their fish died and killed each other or they only a fraction of the fish in those videos.
Having multiple tangs and multiple angels in one tank isn't impossible there just almost always going to be aggression issues and as far as keeping them together I think it depends on your fishes personality for example I have a red tail trigger its supposed to be very peaceful but he thinks he's an undulate trigger and I have a yellow tang that is peaceful as can be
