Questions about livestock to add

I do like the look of so many of the triggers, but according to other websites' compatibility charts, they seem to be iffy with inverts!! I know you said that can be different with every fish, so how would I know? Also, they get rather large, right? Would I even be able to keep it with all the other fish I would like to have, or would I need to cut back on my stock list?

you guys are bashing trigger fish and havent even let me speak.

for the peaceful good vibe tank you want i would go with a clown trigger or blue jaw. i dont recomend a humu trigger because they are a handfull. they are like attention craving toddlers. that being said a blue jaw trigger is perfect for a reef set up. they DONT mess with your cuc and corals and dont have a heavy bio load. the other trigger i think would be a good ide is a mature, passive, clown trigger(this is the one that you will need help finding). and yes they do exist. but this would mean no small fish and your cuc may take some casualties. but if you are up for a humu trigger let me know. and dont listen to online sites about how to take care of a trigger. because IME... they dont know anything.

I'm going to side with Triggers suggestion for Blue Jaws. I have a male and female and probably the most chilled fish in the tank. Neither have messed with any of the snails hermits or even cleaner shrimp and actually the female was getting cleaned by the shrimp earlier today.

lol clown triggers can be very peaceful if you find the right one. but that can be difficult and you need to know what you are doing to find one. I have seen reef tanks around my town with large clown triggers with schooling chromis, dart fish, and other small reef fish along with sps and lps and inverts, the whole package! but I strongly suggest a male blue jaw trigger fish. the colors are amazing and its different than a standard reef set up with tangs and such. so your tank will have character.

75g + is what I recommend.
Man, I saw a beautiful Picasso trigger the other day and I totally thought about you. My husband wants one after he saw it. It was a good sized one, too.

What size tank do they require and what would be some good tank mates with him?

a 75g would be a perfect tank for a humu trigger. most tangs will go well with humu triggers as well as angel fish damsels, ect.. what size tank are you thinking?
