Hmm, idk guys. Iam looking at the tank now. All is good, tang, clowns, gramma, gobys, mandarin, shrimp. Idk, but iam not putting it back in to see lol
Don't put it back without testing it first! Put it in a small bowl of saltwater to check it. Saltwater will duplicate the conductivity of the tank's water.

Lol no I wont put it back. Yes I will test it. If its not leaking then I really have no idea. Everyone says a yellow tang is a good fish to judge water quality if its bad they will show signs first. All good lol

I haven't heard that. My YHT, for the most part, always acts the same. One thing I have always heard is that xenia is a good indicator of water quality. In the early days when I wasn't too keen on water parameters, my xenia would shrivel and wilt, and I knew it was past time for a water change. A day or two later after doing a water change, the xenia would perk up again... so I know this to be true.

How big IS your mantis by now anyway? I remember when you first found him he hitchhiked in and you just happened to notice him.

Lol I have 2!!!! I split a batch of rock and I have one in each tank lol. The one I saw yest was maybe 2.5-3". He's in the 56. The first one I noticed is alot more elusive. I usually only see his front half. I heard him knocking away this weekend tho lol. I would guess there both around the same size
