Sand storms

i have my tank up and ready, but the sand storm is still everywhere... But at this time is it bad to run the filter, pump and skimmer? I just don't want the good bacteria to die because of low oxygen(I have my heater on)

What do you mean by sand storm? Are you saying your water is still cloudy after setup? Or that you are actually getting sand swirling in your tank? How long has your tank been set up?

Yes, normally, when you just add a lot of water into tank, some of the sand particles get suspended in the water. Most times clears up by itself 1-3 days. If not, you can also use a water clarifier and that will clear it up. Never turn off pumps nor filters.
