I have converted to a reef tank and the lighting ugrade has been about 2 weeks. I am now getting that red fuzzy algae? thought that was bad and what can I do?

trying to find outif anybody has angels that change while in the tank from juv. to adult. have heard they do and that they won't.

I had a blue angel and juv. emperor and they did fine. I hear different stories about mixing angles. mine got the ickand passed away so I am buying more and want to get 2 angles again. how have others faired. mine were fine.

I have ick going on my tangs but the angels are good. I have starfish and lr and cleaner shrimp. no hospital tank. I am trying the stop paracite first. any other ideas for this problem.

I want to get a trigger but have some angles, tangs and goby. heard the blue throat won't kill them. naybody have opinions

It looks like I might be having a ick breakout on the hippo and achilles. the hippo scratches it side on the rock. angels are good. best way to kill the ick with out messing with my starfish and cleaner shrimp. does the freshwater dip work? meds? do not have a quar. tank. thanks

I have a achilles tang and have just got a foxface recently. the tang is harrasing the foxface. anybody have an idea how to chill the tang out

i have set up a 72 with live sand and 60 # LR. I am wanting to get some plants. It is set up for a week now. when is a good time add them.

thanks for the info. any more would be great. I live in florida so there are many saltwater stores and I get a little different way of doing it by them all.read the books too and it is a lot. I am doing live rock live sand, fish and some sponges only for now

I am starting a 72 bowfront saltwater marine tank. I was told many things and have read the books. I was told by the fish store if I set it up with live sand and 40-50 pounds live rock that the cycling will not long at all. Is this correct and they stated wait a couple months before appling the...
