I have a salinity and I regularly test the salinity, and keep the tank topped off if it’s getting too low should I push some of that back in? Or just mix new salt water?

As the water from my tank evaporates, I’m noticing salt (I think) buildup on the rim of the tank. I’ve just been cleaning it off, should I keep doing that? Or should I put it back in the water?

I want to put one clownfish and a couple snails in it and arent clownfish supposed to have 1.020- 1.025? I was aiming to get it down to around 1.023-1.024

Yea I wish I could get a bigger tank but right now I’ve got a 55 gallon freshwater and a 5 gallon betta tank so I’m not allowed to get any bigger.

Alright, thanks! As of now I can get a gallon of distilled water for 79 cents and 5 cups of it takes my salinity down .001 and my salinity is at 1.026 so I need to get it down a couple more.
