    flatworm exit side-effects??

I used it to dose my entire system but never a dip method. Never had any cloudy water just lots of dead flat worms. Try running some carbon like it says and see if that helps clear it up.

    Sun Coral

Mysis is a type of shrimp that is either in a frozen cube or a flat sheet so you just break off the amount you need. You should be able to pick some up at your LFS.

    Simple open brain question

Mine has been doing fine in the rocks so far. Had to put 80+ lbs of rock from my old 75 in a 46 bowfront while I get the new 150 set up. Don't have any room for it to sit on the bottom for some reason.

The controllable looks like it uses a few more watts than the regular ones. Using DC voltage will let the controller ramp the output of the PH up and down without burning up the motor. Try that with an AC version and you will be buying quit a few of them cause that won't last.

Only thing I would suggest would be to paint the inside of the canopy a bright white so the light will reflect off the wood and into the tank. Dont want to waste all that light on the wood.

    stray voltage

There shouldn't be any stray voltage from your lights unless it has some contact with the water. The probe will help if any of your equipment has some stray volatage leaking from it. It won't cause a shock because it only uses the ground portion of your electrical outlet. As long as you don't...

    stray voltage

Some smaller electronics devices you an internal ground. Just make sure you don't have salt creep building up on them. Electricity could track through the damp deposits but not always the case. The probe would work in either place. I used mine in the dt cause the stray voltage will effect...

    stray voltage

You could have a loose ground in your lighting somewhere which could cause you too fell it while your hands are in the water. Basically you are the ground when that happens. The GFCI is a good idea plus you can use a ground probe to help control the problem. HTH
