Yes those are Green Star Polyps. They were about the size of a fingernail when we got them and we have fragged them many times. They are flourscent green but the camera flash washes them out.

I was going to shoot some picks of the corals but the fish figured they wanted to be in the pics.

We had a bad apstasia problem and i got sick of injecting them so we bought six peppermint shrimp and within a week they cleaned them all out and I haven't seen an apstasia in over a year. Plus the peppermints are a hoot to watch at feeding time.

I have the same skimmer and the skimmer box really helps to reduce the bubbles.

We have ran oours un-modified for 2 years and noto adjusted since the start. When yoou clean it, it might take a day to get back to bubbling like crazy. Be patiemt and you will be rewarded!

We have some kind of Pistol shrimp thst has extremely fine feelers that reach out and grab food. I think it is a pistol shrimp because if you look close at his hole you can see a big pincer when he snaps.
