is it the same with LED wattage as it is with MH, PC, VHO etc?? like if a listing is 20 LED's @ 7 watts.... Im a lil confused... any help?

Just thought of buying this for a pico tank to have some small frags from home on my desk at work... anything I should know before buying??

Wow a year almost and my tank is starting all over... I got laid off and now transferred out to California and sold off everything down to the rock... guess it's a 2nd try! lol

the "air injector" tube is finicky... it clogs with salt creep, humidity, and somehow with air... like i said, when it worked it was ok, but it was never "awesome!" btw, heaven forbid if the air intake detaches, cuz the closed housing makes it impossible to reinsert! ...best of luck!

yeah i had a copper banded for almost 5 weeks and came in one day after work and BAM! dead, being nibbled on by my cleanup crew! 6 peppermints and slowly they started disappearing... no visible dissipation of the aiptasia and now none can be found... joe's juiced the hell out of it, injected as...

ok, so i had high hopes about the clarity, cuz it's almost cleared fully now! haha... parameters are flyin off the handle! lol

i had one and it worked about a week and died, they replaced my pump no questions asked and it skimmed minimally... i have heard good things about the biocube skimmer tho

...after 10 mins... seems to be clearing fast...

OK... here's some shots of my aiptasia farm... now keep in mind, I've been treating with Joe's for about 6 weeks now, and this is what it looks like so far... ...I know it doesnt look like much but this is AFTER 6 WEEKS of treatment...aka thinned out...

I got it in the mail Saturday morning!!! here's the start; I inspected it and set it up with freshR/O water for leak tests... it was perfect for the 24 hours I ran it... Then loaded it with 20lbs of black LS and approx. 30lbs of LR... now we start to clear up and cycle here we go... and lets...

catch, thx, cuz i've been skimming other posts and haven't seen anyone mention the probs or mods they've really done... thx again!!

if my newborn is down when I get home, I'll upload pics of what I'm facing... thx for all the input! Someone else recommended clearing one or two rocks and boiling the rest and then allowing them to re-seed with the ones I salvaged... so we'll see... pics to follow shortly!

ok, I gave in and bought a 14g Oceanic BioCube for a decent price, because I've wanted one for a while... Here's my task... not really used to the smaller side of life, so help me stock it... if this was your tank, or you have a 14g or similar and could do it all over again, just differently...

Long story short, my system has been neglected and I have aiptasia growth EVERYWHERE... beyond the help of Joes Juice... trust me, 8 bottles later and they are still everywhere... Would a scrub down and 48 hour fresh water soak of my live rock eliminate everything enough to reuse in a new tank?
