the right eye of my spiney boxfish is looking milkey to solid white. He has not been around any sharp rock, and is the only fish in the tank. Anyone know what this could be caused by and how to treat it?

I painted the back of my tank with an acrylic paint, and then got my tank drilled for overflows. I want the overflows to match the back color, but do not know if the acrylic paint will be toxic to the fish once it dries. Anyone here done this before?

Unless you have a spare tank, use a rubbermaid tub. These are cheap and easy to work with. What LFS do you go to? My brother-in-law is starting a reef in the K.C. area and when I'm up there I like to check out the different stores. Thanks, Lancer

I know the feeling! The best thing you can do right now is to go to your local library and check out any new books they might have on reefs. There are so many good books out there to choose from, but many have the same basic advice. Good luck, Lancer

Do a search on yahoo and you will find their web site. If you e-mail them and leave your phone number they will call you with the name of a distributer they use ( they called me within an hour of leaving the e-mail! ) that you can order from. The price was a just a little less then my lfs...

If you are using this sump with any kind of ls/lr 150 gph is way too much. Try to aim for 50-60 gph, that is what I have for my sump made with a 15 gallon tall. You can restrict the flow back up if your pump is too strong. In your tank I would add several powerheads for flow up there but not...
