I have a 30 gallon tank. My hood only has aspot for one bulb. Is there one bulb that would do the job? Also, I have put in about 10pounds of live rock recently. The water is becoming a little cloudy and the Ammonia is very high. Is there something I should do?

Just put live rock in my week old cycling tank. Levels are Ph 8.0, Ammonia, .0502 Nitrite .15, Nitrate 10. The corals on the rock are turning white. Is this just because they are dying due to the levels? Is there anything I can do about this or is it just part of the process? Thanks

Thank you for your responses. I set up the water and salt on Saturaday, checked the salinity on monday afternoon and then added the two fish. The water was perfect according to the pet store. I have not added any water at all, but I am planning to only add distilled water from the grocery...

I am just beginning to cycle my 30 gallon tank. I had my gravity at 1.022. I put in two Damsals (blue with yellow tail?) and they seem to be doing fine. The day after I put the fish in the tank the gravity went up to 1.025. Is this normal? What should I do? Please forgive me I am very new...
