I just put a penguin 350 w/ double bio wheels on my 36 gal bowfront ( a bit overkill I know but I will be changing to a larger tank in the future). I am looking at two differant brands. Either a visitherm Visi-Jet Protein Skimmer or a Berlin Air-Lifts skimmer. Both are around $30. This is for a 36 gal reef tank. Thanks!
