    YUMMY

I've only been feeding my corals directly with microplankton, is this ok? They all seem healthy, but if I can get my duncan looking like yours then I'm gonna start handfeeding them some solid stuff!

    WOOHOOOOOOO Phosphates are DOWN

Yayyyyyyyy! What system do you have in there again?

    alge problem

If you can get your phosphates low but not 0 have you tried adding some stable plants in a refugium? That way they soak up the remaining phosphates, as well as provide other benefits.

    Striped Fang Blenny

I don't have experience with a fang blenny, but I do with hawkfish! I found that if I took mine out and kept it in the QT tank for a couple days and then put him back in, he would act like the new guy again and wouldn't beat up anyone. I've also heard that you can usually stop bullying if you...

    Shrimps question.

you could get away with a couple peppermint shrimp. Although, chances are you'll never see them! They like to hide in rockwork. I have banded shrimp in my reef tank as well, but you have to be careful with them, keep them well fed! IMO blood shrimp are beautiful, but a little too pricey for...

    Anthelia??

I've also heard that these guys can help with nitrates! Another thing I noticed with these guys is that, well at least in my tank, they only seem to like to grow up. They'll climb up the side of a rock, but when they reach the top they just get denser, not really spreading out so much.

    alge problem

I used to have a problem with that kind of algae, I picked up a Sea Hare and he had it all cleaned up within a week! The trick after that is keeping him alive :P I've gotten mine to eat by rubberbanding some freezedried seaweed to a small piece of rock and sinking it to the bottom. The Sea Hare...

    Ich mystery!

Yea, I told him to keep it like this for another 4 - 6 weeks. I'd rather not have to go through this ordeal again!

    Ich mystery!

I've told him that tangs were a bad idea, but he never listens to me! haha     I meant that our water parameters are identical, since I make it for him, except my pH usually sits around 8.3, give or take .1   I have a Percula Clown, Scooter Blenny, Dragon Goby (which has been driving me crazy...

    *****...WOW!

I guess I'm lucky! I live on Long Island and I have 4 exceptional lfs within 30 minutes of me :) I also have a ***** and a Petsmart within 15 minutes, although all they're good for is accessories.   I did have a new hire at my favorite lfs tell me he keeps a naso tang in a 14 gallon, and tried...

Is it possible to move a Maxima clam?

I have a 3" blue/green Maxima clam that is attached to a rather large piece of live rock. I would like to rearrange my tank a bit and I would like to put it somewhere else, however the clam is pretty firmly attached to the rock! I didn't want to force it because I've heard of people tearing out...

    Ich mystery!

Would running a hypo setup be dangerous to the inverts? there's no coral, but a lot of crabs and snails.

    Ich mystery!

My friend's tank has a bit of an ich situation. He has already lost both of his Hippo Tangs and Dragon Goby and now all of his other fish are showing Ich! He has 3 PJ Cardinals and a Percula Clown, which I always thought Clownfish were pretty resistant to Ich (guess not!) The thing that baffles...
