I got 3 x 250w MH on my 125g and I'm switching to LED's. A guy in a local club will be ordering some custom made ones with 3w cree LED. It's supposed to be equivalent to a 400w MH. This will definitely drop my electric bill as I've been using a chiller since I went to MH.

I'm in the market for a new skimmer and so far I've heard great things about the Octopus extreme models. I'm running a 125g and so far the extreme 200 model seems like the winner for me. It's in the $250-300 range.

+1 on the in-line dual tds meter from bulk reef supply. I have it and many people that I know have it as well and it's been perfect. Gives perfect accurate reading every time

I'm going through the same dilemma. I asked the same question on another forum and I was told that the lawnmower might end up picking on the midas or vice-versa depending on which one is introduced first. I was told that they might be ok in a larger tank, mine is a 125 and I was told it might...

How do you have them placed? I'd say no depending on placement. I would have them both hitting part of the back or front of the tank and across the tank. I had 2 of these on a 55g before moving to a 125g and they flow was pretty good and the corals loved it.

I've had 2 of them for a couple of months and they share the same den and are always swimming together. I added mine at the same time, this way there wouldn't be any fights over territories.
