I had my drip system of kalk going over night at what I thought was a really slow drip ( 1 drip per 3 to 4 minutes). My calcuim lvls over 500 and REALLY low in alk. I stopped the drip system till I can figure this thing out. Now why would kalk raise my calc lvls but not the alk too? I did...

Last night I just started using a drip system of Kalk. Now I was just wondering about adding another to help bring up the alk or do I just dose alittle everey other day or so? Less work for me the better so that I can work on other things for my tank.

In a 5 gallon Kent container I was wondering on how much of the kalk do I add to the container? Also how slow should I have it drip in my sump? Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated. THX

So my plankton should be refrigerated? Or leaveing it in the cubbard be ok? I have been doing this for a really long time and never heard that it had to be refrigerated.
