    cal, don't listen to anything that scott says.. he knows nothing.. he keeps large species of angels and foxfaces in a 20 gallon roflmao. Don't get a brittle, they're hit and miss... linkias require supplemental feeding and an established tank.

    Get a fuge or turf scrubber and quit using tap water to drop the nitrates and phosphates. get the salinity up to 1.025 and your starfish and the other inverts will thank you.

    You can keep alot of stars in smaller tanks, but make sure they get supplemental feedings and realize that like any starfish, you're rolling dice.

    make sure your tank parameters are stable and an lugol's dip wouldn't hurt before putting it in the tank. A yuma is probably the only softy that I'd acclimate. I'm actually looking at buying a $200 pink one so I feel your pain.. I'd be pretty distraught about losing it haha.
