The sand trick works well.I've put a shroom in a small ziploc disposable container(brand new,never washed).Put some sand in that and put it on top of your liverock in the tank for a few days and then you have some thing to work with to glue to your rock. Let us know your results,good luck-Pete

You might want to look into a bullet goby,that sand will be clean in a day!

No expert or anything,but I use B-ionic 2 part solution Alk/Calcium and it keeps everything at a constant level
