i would add small shelves in your refugium, that are just mesh zipped tied to a plastic separator, with some PVC pipe below it to separate the sand and give the algae and bacteria more area (sand surface) to multiply on! I have two of them on mine!

ASM G2 Skimmer!!! If you have the money they are the best skimmers ever. I have seen them anywhere from $250-300 but if you can find one used it would be cheaper!

So today I have checked the tang and the ick has gotten the worst it has been. More spots all over his body yet I have kept the SG down to exactly .009 I will be giving him ANOTHER freshwater dip but if that doesnt work? Maybe try the copper treatments?
