My specific gravity is a tad high, just wondering how to get it lower. Im using a deep 6 hydrometer Measured after i mixed in all the salt, and was right at 1.021 And now after adding a little over 100lb's of LR, its right at around 1.028 Any ideas? Ive tested like 6 times to make sure its right

Setting up a 150 gallon, wondering what my filtration options are going to be. Ive been reading a small bit about having a skimmer and running a filter very sparingly. I am planing around around 200-225 lbs of live rock, and was just wondering if I would need both a filter and a protien skimmer.
