my nitrites never went up. at this i thought i woould see the ammonia rise a little. thanks

new to this site but alot of good info. i have a 72 gallon bowfront with overflows/ wetdry system. my tank has been runing for about 5 weeks. i'm waiting for my ammonia to spike but the highest reading that i have had so far is .25 and the nitrites have stayed at .0. I have about 15 lbs...
