29 Gallon Help BTA & OSC. Clown *HELP*

Regarding the clownfish hosting an anemone in the tank, I have heard that sometimes they host it and sometimes they simply don't.

29 Gallon Help BTA & OSC. Clown *HELP*

I have not kept an anemone and don't plan on keeping one at least for a while but I'm pretty sure they need a lot of light. Can the biocube handle their lighting needs?

Can I add a dwarf angel?

I currently have a 29 gallon rectangular aquarium. I plan on keeping soft corals and maybe one centerpiece hard coral. My current fish in the tank are 2 small ocellaris clownfish, and 1 yellow watchman goby. I was wondering if I could add a dwarf angel as my final fish in the tank, or if that...

Is a 65 gallon too small for a school of chromis?

You could probably do 4 yellow striped cardinal fish. Since you already have 3 other fish in the aquarium I'm not sure if I would add any more fish than that :/ Also, that damsel is a little worrisome because the cardinal fish I suggested (and a lot of other small schooling fish) are peaceful...

Is a 65 gallon too small for a school of chromis?

13 fish sounds like too many. Probably half that amount would be ok depending on the size and needs of the fish.

    New 46 Gallon Bowfront

I wouldn't add any fish until your tank is done cycling as they could die with a sudden ammonia spike.

    Identify coral

If just a bit of the slime gets in a wound it can kill you. Palytoxins are one of the most dangerous poisons in nature. Palytoxins are found in some palythoas and some zoanthids.

My Marine fishes keep on diying

Ok. don't buy anymore fish till everything gets straightened out. First off, your fish are most likely dying from ammonia and nitrites because you didn't cycle your tank. Ammonia and nitrites kill fish. What you need to do is go buy live rock for your tank and put it in. I suggest getting...

    Branching montipora bleaching

Sorry. I forget the exact numbers but alk was in the safe zone on my test strip but ph appeared to be low. I suspect that may have been it along with my poor acclimation of the coral lighting wise.

    Branching montipora bleaching

I ran out of salt for my water change so I will pick up an alkalinity test kit as well as more salt at the store.

    Branching montipora bleaching

The tank is about 7 months old. I have a phosphate test kit but no alk or magnesium. I tested calcium before I put it in and it was 520. I have only had an xenia coral before this which I kept for 4 months until it died after I had some lighting issues. The montipora at this point looks as...

    Branching montipora bleaching

Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, nitrates 0,5 or in between (I'm not good at differing between the two colors on the chart). Nitrates will probably go up a little soon after a feeding mishap today where waaay too much food got into the aquarium. I got most of it out with my net and the goby will eat...
