I have 20w CF's its a terrible light in my QT and I dont think it's made for SW...My lfs charges alot for lights way overpriced...but thanks for the info will start saving and working more hours..I never thought of QT corals..Thanks guys

so here's the situation...I have 2 yellow tangs in QT going through HYPO they are fighting alot and became quite aggresive...When putting them back into my 120 DT after 6 weeks also doing major aquascaping and in the process of curing 50 lb of lr...should I introduce the 2 yellows and the purple...

So I have a Derasa clam and I noticed a while back ago my yellow tang nipping at it perhaps he was looking for algae off the shell as it is 5 inches in diameter put he seemed to be putting the nose inside or trying to and the clam would shut why would he be going after the clam he was fed well ...

I have experience with 2 simillar shaped tangs in a 120 gal. tank that have been fighting for months now it's almolst inevetable that one will dominate the other ...of course some of you know they are all in a 55 gal QT being Hypo'd but this is a hypothetical question for down the road so lets...

Wouldn't putting a blue tang 3 inches in a qt 10 gal. for more than 4 days stress the fish out ?

Some say don't do a water change just leave it for a week or 2 then when the params are ok its safe to put the rock in the dt....some say do 2-4 100 percent water changes paer 10 days. so what do u guys thank ?

so I acclimate him to the qt then after 3 weeks I acclimate him to my DT ? even though the params are extremely simillar still acclimate again ?

Is it better to QT a Tang in a 10 gal and if so for how long or just put him directly in a fowlr 80 gal tank. his tankmates would be a porc. puffer a niger trigger a flame angel and a royal gramma.

I belive I harmed them from moving them often, or my sally lightfoots apparently aren't reef safe at 4 inches in diameter.

I have perfect water conditions and MH lighting.
