Ok so I am going to go with a custom tank about 24x18x20..which is about 35 gallons, I plan on running a sump which will also be a refuge and have a propogation tray inside it. I do not plan on using a skimmer, and will be running a mag pump out the back up top to a SCWD with dual return ports...

What are your reasons for not combining the sump/refuge into one tank?
