i would say 100-150w would do. both lights are good fixtures, depending on distance away from tank, determines whether you need a fan on it.

the info. that i have seen, they are pretty good skimmers. don't have any personal exp. with them.

The smaller the tank, of course. the less bright the light can be. I would look into a HO T5 light for a tank less than 15 gallons, bacause of price & energy.

yes, you have to ajust the overflow box to match the speed of the pump.

it could only be one of two things. your overflow box is to low in the tank, or your pump is not strong enough to keep up.

have you replaced the bulbs yet? if so, are they standard size or did you have to buy replacements from odyssea? i've read reviews that say their bulbs are not standard size, and you can't buy replacements from anywhere but from them.

can you tell me the name brand of your ballasts on your light fixture?

I was wondering if someone could tell me what name brand ballasts the Odyssea fixtures have in them? I am interested in the 216W 48" 4 bulb T5 HO Pro. fixture. also is the bulbs a standard 48" bulb or do you have to get replacement bulbs from them? thanks

prices are alittle high, but very high quality fish and coral, staff is very knowlegable and trustworthy. they have everything you'll need.

well i'm no expert at this but my reef book says, the specimens are packed in plastic bags with one third water and two thirds oxygen, sometimes a shell or small rock is shipped with the specimen. rubberbands are used to close the plastic bags. a cardboard box into which the styrofoam box fits...
