hey everyone, im looking to get rid of micro bubbles from my display tank and was wondering what baffles should look like in a 30 gal long sump....also if anyone can post pictures of their custom made sumps thatd be helpful!

just set up the new 250 w pendants on the tank last week, temp has been perfect with the fans blowing on the lights....will post pics tomorrow night

you also have tons of aiptasia i would get rid of it before investing in more coral

yeah id get the hamiltons they have hqi ballasts because in order to power double ended you need hqi....if i have 2 250w ballasts at 20k...is it worth it to supplement with a 110w daylight VHO?

yeah i really dont feel like buying a chiller so i think im going to go with 2 250w hamilton pendants with 14k bulbs included, and ill buy 20k bulbs maybe south pacific sps bulbs.....but yeah the 400w would be a little much...i just want to have 20k without sacrificing too much intensity so...

Hey everyone, I have a 75 reef, and currently a coralife retrofit MH/PC combo. The color of 14k and 10k isnt pleasing me so im upgrading to 400w 20ks....any suggestions thats around $600? Also ill have the retrofit for sale if anyones interested...new they are 750...its only about a year old...

oh and its 48 inches

for the retro....well its just over a year old and the pcs need to be replaced....for new its 750 so id say about 400

I think im just gonna go with the 400w and yeah 20k bulbs....no PC's or T-5s to add color because the intensity of the 400w and color of 20k will be enough i just gotta get rid of my coralife retrofit....ANY TAKERS?

Hey everyone, quick question if someone can answer.... im upgrading my lighting and i was wondering if 400w MH's were too much for the 18 inch depth that i have? will acros thrive if i only have 250w? also, if im thinking of using two 250w pendants, what would be best to use as actinics on the tank?

i have a coralife retrofit with two PC actinics and two 150w metal halides at 15k...soon i will upgrade to PFO ballasts and reflectors at 250k with an actinic t5 strip

dont worry ive done my research and myp regal has been doing excellent....it took a few days to get him to eat but i started him on red algae sheets which he was eating, then live brine, then tro frozen brine and mysis, and now he eats flakes that the damsels eat! he hasnt picked on anything...
