so its not a stinger cause it was all over the corals

This just came out today and the rock has been in for two weeks. Its kind of a bad pic but its got what looks like a stinger coming out and there are three of them on one little rock

All I have is snails and hermit crabs. Is there anything that will eat up the cyano?

I have had my tank up and running for about 3 months. I cant seem to get the cyano under control. I know that increasing the water flow but when I do that I get too much and it kicks up the sand. The water conditions are perfict so I dont know what else to do. Any help?
