Hi im new to the reef hobby im trying to put together a 20 to 30 gallon reef tank.What would be a good filter what kind of power head should i use , the sand ,heater .Im thinking i have a emperor 400 filter you guys think that would work . I will apreciate your info thanks

well it will be for a 100 gallon fowlr tank and a 40 reef gallon .know one more question in my 100 i want live rock do i need live sand and what is the driffrence between live and regular sand . thanks every one

Hi every one im knew to reefs .Know wanted to now what would be good for a 40 gallon reef tank ,nad what kind of lightin skimmer and a good wave maker .know i dont want to use a sump so any good filters out canister o hang on thank for the info.

the lights im using are the normal stock ones . i like your choice of fish cool thank .a anenome is hard to keep i do have a power head there is good current of water in there nad the emperor has to bio wheels and you think a should get live rock
