    Would you believe....

Back to day 1, and on hold! LOL! Got my adorable little tank up and cycling away when DH convinced me that "WE" really like all the little fishies and coral we've seen shop-hopping, and wouldn't a nano tank be nice??? Sooo, three and a half weeks into cycling, I'm adding some live rock...

    Tank is cycling for dwarves!!

Sooo...in other words...suck it up and deal with the cloudiness...it will work out. LOL!! This is where my OCD-ness will make the whole cycling process a challenge!

    Tank is cycling for dwarves!!

Flower, I will ask him when I'm in there next time...going to go get some water to top off my tank later this week. In the meantime, I'm seriously considering a power filter upgrade. I'm having doubts that the filter my DH purchased is large enough. He purchased a filter for a 5-7 tank...the...

Am I crazy, or what? (The answer is yes...and I know it! LOL!)

Wow Snake....gorgeous! Okay, so a question. Let's say I decide to give this nano thing a go...what's the smallest size I can do and get away with maybe 3 fish, a shrimp or two, and a sea star (along with corals...of course!)? Is there an all-in-one that would be good for this? I just can't...

    And now I'm cloudy...bleh!

Ok I knew this would happen when I started my ghost feed, but I HATE cloudy! I know I can remove any left-over shrimploogie in a couple of days...but should I let the water be and cycle itself through the clouds or should I do a partial change at that point? Did I mention I HATE clouds...

    That's not a booger or a loogie...I'm ghost feeding!

Oh what fun it was to visit my Publix and ask for a single shrimp! They all looked at me like I was crazy! LOL! I came home and cut off a tiny piece to put in the tank. Something is happening already...it has gone from a tiny, compact morsel to the larger, booger-looking thing you see here...

Am I crazy, or what? (The answer is yes...and I know it! LOL!)

I think at this point I will let this idea slide. It was just a "hey that's cool...wonder if we...why don't you look into it" thing. Perhaps in the future we can purchase the goods for a nano. Thanks for all the input though! :)

Am I crazy, or what? (The answer is yes...and I know it! LOL!)

I appreciate your input. I kinda figured a CC star was too large for a nano, but quite a few of the set-ups we saw had clowns in them (or were they false clowns...I am unsure of the difference.) We truly don't have the room for a larger set-up. Overall, I was just throwing the idea out there to...

    Tank is cycling for dwarves!!

Flower, I am a member of Seahorse.org. I posted there, and the response I got was that they had heard of people training dwarves to frozen, that it was a difficult undertaking and they were interested to see if it would indeed work. Most of all they WISHED ME LUCK. I assure you that I am...

First of all, I have to say thanks to everyone who has welcomed me so warmly! I am a newbie to SW, and everyone in every area I have posted in has been so helpful and not at all "I'm the expert, you are the twinkie" like. (I say that because they were downright RUDE in another forum...ain't...

Hi Flower. Thanks for the reply and information! I have received a lot of good information on this forum (SOOO much better than the "other" forum I joined) and I appreciate the warm welcome I have received! I have received a few responses and suggestions for not putting a top on the tank, so...
