55gal here is a pic.

No they are not pointing at eachother. They point up and to the front glass of the tank. I have 2 Maxi jet 600's that produce 160gl per hour, the filter is a Aqua Clear 70 unsure of it.

Sorry for jumping in but I am in the same tank as Martin, I do have 2 power heads should they point at the live rock? They are on either side of my tank just under the water line with the jets pointing up to the surface of the water is this okay.

Thanks Wax but how much of a water change during cycle? PS just saw your new Blenny or is it a Gobi on pic of your fish post, very neat.. also can you tell me if tangs, damsels, clowns, and your new fish are compatable together.

Okay so when should I do a water change and vacume the sand? there seems to be a lot of silt on top of the sand. Does that need to be cleaned out.

Martin I have just about the same set up and I am getting small brown spots in my sand also I hope some one can hepl us. See my post clean up crew or more live rock in the reef tank post.

Okay my 55g is at the ending its cycle but reading thought the posts here I think I dont have enought live rock. I think I read 1lb for every gal of water? is this right? also can or should I add a clean up crew now or wait till I put more live rock in. this is what I have now. 55g 75lb LS 15lb...

is the prizm very noisey?? also I have read alot of posts here and they dont favor the prizm that much, any one else heard anything about them. Iam not knocking yours FISHYDOGS just tring to get all the input.

Will thses snails damage anything on the live rock?

Thanks for the info i will watch it closely. as far as the snails go wont they over take the tank?? If I would have known that the Damsels were possabley going to there death I might have not used them. I am watching the closely also they seem to be doing fine. :happyfish
