Yep, got a little 5 watt PL lamp clip on. Also got some of that special epoxy so I can actually put the frags where i want them. Tank looks totally different now... I'm almost thinking that i should've gotten an AC 50. a little bit bigger, but oh well i wil try this out. I can already see...

I got the AquaClear 30 and made that refuge the other day. Goobe sent me a link for it. Wasn't really sure what to put in the bottom, so i put some of my live sand, some bits of live rock that has fallen off, and some algee im not sure what its called, but the stuff reminds of a scouring pad...

Thanks Goobe, thats Exactly what im after!! And I will for sure post a few pics up afterwards. I do have another question, after I build this, I see some poeple use live rocks in the bottom, and other use the refug mud substrate, and some thier sand form the tank. Know if there is any...

Has anyone tried to make a refuge out of an AquaClear 20 or 30? i'm considering on it and have done some reading how. Just currious if it actaully works or not? would it be worth while on my 20 gal tank

I am noticing something new swimming around in my tank this morning and have no clue what they are. its just big enough that i can see it, not big enough to take a pic, will try and descrbe it the best i can. looks like i have a couple of there in there. Looks like almost a perfect circle...

Seeing these white specs starting to show up on one of my goby eels. Is that most likely ick? And how do i get rid of it??? The other one seems to be fine so far

I got a question. Looks like my cleaner shrimp shed over night. Should i leave the old husk in there or take it out? Is there any benefit if i do leave it in there?

Ok, so here is the stats on my tank. It is a 20 gal, running an Aquaclear 50 filter, have an AquticLife mini internal 115 skimmer. The CoralLife lights on it with the normal light and antic. Only about 13 pounds of live rock with live sand. CUC: 4 blue legged hermits 4 nassarius snails 1...

Not really after the fish look, going for a coral reef, probally put 1 or 2 small fish but thats about it. Not sure what to look into for that

Tanks been running for almost a month now, nitrates and everything seem to be in good order. Tons of night life in it, got a small cleaning crew going like 4 blue legged hermits, 1 turbo snail, and 4 nassarius snails. using an AquaClear 50 filter

It's called a AquaticLife Internal Mini Skimmer 115. The guy at the store kept telling me I need to get one real soon, I didn't think it was all the nessecary as of yet. But he wasn't gonna sell me anything else till I got one running. The skimmer is supposed to good for upto a 30 gal tank...
