hey i was at home depot the other day and they had a 250 watt metal halide bulb for about 25 bucks, i was just wondering if there was a difference of spectrum from the home depot bulb or one of those 180$ LFS MH bulbs? will either work for a reef tank? ~Rankin

all fish water has ick in it but the fish usually have a strong enough immune system to fight it but when temperature fluctuates or the fish are week or stressed, then that is when they have tendencies to become ill, so u might want to ask how they ship their fish and ask if their temperature is...

i have seen several wet/dry filters built from smaller tanks but i do not know what all i need to do this, i know what it does and how it does it but i do not know exacly how to build one, a little help would be very nice, ~rankin

if you're looking for a cheeper upgrade just get a standard twin tube and go with a full atintic magentic and a full sunlight spectrum ~rankin

for those of you who are having problems getting you tank to cycle, just take one of those little 19 cent feeder comet goldfish stick it in your salt tank and when the salt kills it bury it in the sand, then let it be, your tank will cycle in a few days...............or you could just use alot...
