thanks all for the advise. I have a 160gal. fish only tank and it is a breeze to care for compared to the 12 gallon. So if i decide to add the calcium i'll take it real slow. thanks again !!!!

I have a twelve gallon eclipse seahorse only tank. added the Nova lighting system and 20lbs of live rock. added some mushrooms and a few pollyps. i add afew drops of kent invert fine feeder food every week. I was told adding some calcium would be good for this tank....yes?...no?...and how much...

it is an eclipse system 12 with the bio-wheel. i've been told this will do but may need very frequent water changes.if you do start a tank check out the word seahorse under the search section. i got alot of info and links there. good luck!

i started a seahorse only tank.5 seahorses in all. 3 are eating well. 2 will not eat. i have even tried isolating them. so far i have tried live brine shrimp and also live ghost shrimp. any ideas on types of food to try live or frozen ? anyone know any tricks too get them to eat? PLEASE...

recntly set-up seahorse only tank. Seahorses have been added in the last week. It is not established enough for a clean-up crew yet. I wouldn't want them to starve. I am worried about the uneaten seahorse food contaminating the tank. What kind of fish/scavenger could i get that would not...

I would like to set up a small seperate tank for a couple of seahorses.Is the self contained filtration system in the hood of the Eclipse 6 acceptable/enough???
