if you do water chages that should replenish calcium ect. in the tank you could add but you dont nead to! get a test kit for calcium and keep it in the 450 mark if you want.
but like i said i dont think you have anything that needs calcium, but it wont hurt!
COOL tank i wont one in my bed room. :D

I agree with the water changes.
If you do start adding calcium, test it as mentioned, and monitor your alkalinity and pH.
you change one if affect the others.

Your seahorse may need calcium. I am not sure aobut this but I know they have a hard outer skeleton that gives them protection so they may need the clacium to keep this exoskeleton hard. I am adding Kent's Turbo Calcium to my tank and I love it. It keeps the hair and slime algea down and has really sped up coraline algea growth. If you decide to use this calcium make sure and talk to your LFS about it since it is very strong and find out how much to use in your tank.

i dont recomend any thing with turbo (no offense) you have a small tank nice, but small, you could end up with a tank full of calcium. take it slow and test it. i dont believe the sea h. needs any special amount of calcium. but like the shark said keep an i on ph ect. it can change quick in a 12 gallon tank. smaller is more difficult to manage than big! things change real quick!
GOOD LUCK! :D

do i have ot disagree wiht you again gator??
too bad, because i agree, lol :D
anyhow, if there are no corals or lr in the tank, calcium is not near as important as many think, unless the seahorse itself needs it too,
if you have any corals or lr i would shoot for 400 to 450 and jsut do as gatro said, increasse slowly and test as you go, wait 12 to 24 hrs after adding before testing
if nothing like coral or lr is present, you should keep it at least 300 or close, jsut to help with maintaining your other levels only, like alk and ph

thanks all for the advise. I have a 160gal. fish only tank and it is a breeze to care for compared to the 12 gallon. So if i decide to add the calcium i'll take it real slow.
thanks again !!!!
