I didn't know that bleach eventually turns to saltwater...I use bleach when cleaning my house, but was concerned that if I used it with my aquatics that a residue would be left even after numerous rinses. I was also thinking of vinegar... this is another agent that I use to clean with...

How do I remove mildew/mold from tubing without using bleach? Please help.

I have heard of the dreaded hair algae, and have never seen what it looks like. My tank is in the cycle process, and I see some kind of algae, but am not sure which one it is. :help: Please post a picture of it to this tread. Thanks!

I think I just did now in my own tank! While perusing through my tank with the aid of a pin light, I say a Brittle Worm about that size or bigger. It was more pink with purpleish dots on the outside edge than gray/brown (the one above). However, I may be wrong, it may be some other kind of...

Thanks to all who have replied in this thread! It is really hard to find a good LFS. I have visited the Fish Gallery on Greenville a few times, they were nice and helpful. Plus all of their fish looked pretty good. I like to check out my LFS before I buy, and I will be purchasing something...
