    Haven't been on here for a while...but anyway my Trigger has died! I don't know what was really wrong with him. So it's been a while since I've been on here, is your trigger still alive? How is his face? Did it go back to normal now?

    Also...what is Brooklynella, and what is it caused by? We had 2 perc clowns, they died now, but that kind of looked like what they had. Before they died they were starting to lay on the bottom of the tank, and they would kind of twitch sometimes as they were swimming. What is that all about?

    The two fish i hve in my tank, they are some sort of chromis i think, have ich on their fins. Do we use copper or hypo to get rid of this?

    Thanks. Yes I have noticed that there is less of it growing on the one side of the tank now... there is more water flow over on the one side. So I guess it is just settling on the side that has less flow??

    The tank has been running for about 6 months at least... and this has just been going on for about a month and a half now.

    It is called red slime algae. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this? And how harmful is it.

    As far as that purple algae in my tank...it is not so purple i guess. I have read on the internet on that cyano site that it is not the greatest for my tank.

    Can anyone tell me what supplements are a must have in all saltwater tanks, if any. I'm not to sure what we should be putting into the tank if not neccesary.

    Also, is it bad for the tank to have to much air circulating through it? We have a 402 powerhead running in it.

    the purple algae is growing directly under the lights... it does not grow in the darker spots, like under the live rock that is proped up.

    he also said it was caused from low lighting, but we have lots of light.
