i have 2 of them. they're really not too bad as far as aggression. they eat a lot of plant and whatever falls in front of them. if you feed them well you'll be ok as far as the aggression factor goes. i've had them for a few years now.

if it's a malnutrition problem the color would fade. they eat veggies and food with sponge in them. also they fade when the water quality as far as nitrite, nitrates and ammonia are bad. if this is the case then they fade but in blotches.
