i only have a few corals in my 90g but they are all growing every fast and i want to give fragging a try on my zoos. here are some pics of them. I am unsure of the difference between polyps and palys. any tips on fragging this coral would be great. i dont know what to use to cut it or how...

i guess the colt has polyps right? the little spiky things on them, those are polyps right? they are almost always open. even when it looks like crap, they are still open... i love this coral so i hope it always looks good. right now it is almost back to its full size.

i just looked at the colt again. it nearly doubled in size from ten minutes ago. before it was about 2 inches and not standing up. now it is almost standing up all the way and is about 4-5 in. its full hieght i would say is 6 or 7" ....this is so wierd. it isnt the first time it has done this...

do u no what the hair on the colt is? and its so wierd that the ricordea let go because it seriously grew alot in a week and now there is almost nothing left:(

the colt also had some geen hair on it, just a tiny bit on one or 2 of the fingers... i pulled it off though. i dont have any hair algea anywhere so i dont think it was that... maybe your right about it shedding... i sure hope so becasuse this is kinda depressing considering these are supposed...

oh and i have a 760w mh/pc fixture.

what am i doing wrong? i gota green ricordia from swf.com...it started to grow really fast until yesterday. now today it is almost all gone. it pretty much is just a little purple slab. all the green bubbles are gone, itlooks like it is just the bottom of the coral now. all i have in the tank...

im having trouble figuring out how to use this test kit. my ph and cal are on point at 430 and 8.2 but i still would like to no how to use this kit. and how would i be able to figure out if it is right or wrong because i have read that some of them are faulty...

i added ultra life. its for red slime. it got rid of my red slime. thats why im using chemipure... i just dont no for how long i should run it. and yes i did rinse it but not alot because it says rinse lightly... how long should i run it for... and also, the red slime med did not affect my coral...

unless im missing it i dont see where on the bottle it says when to take it out...so far this has made my tank cloudy, not clear....odd..

also, the chemi pure turned the filter sock black, is this ok? the skimmer still is pourin out water.... idk what i should do..

well i cant run the skimmer because the gate vavle is open all the way and it is skimming so fast i filled up a 1 liter in 30 seconds! and should i take the chemi pure out after 24hrs?
