i have been using Chicago tap water for two years. (29 gal tank) i heard that the chicago tap water is fine for drinking, but i still use my old hang-on filter to run the tap water a day or two before i put them in my main tank.

get a eggcrate. i just put one on my tank. you can find one at homedepot.

is that a red mushroom? All my red shrooms just died. but green and blue shrooms are all fine. and others corals are all fine too.(even tourch and leathers) there's sth like to kill red shroom?

by the way, i changed the salt mix that i have been using. I used to use Insant Ocean. Then i changed to Oceanic. Is this the reason? and all my other mushrooms start to come off from where they were. (they want to change to the new localation)

thanks bustedup21! my water smells OK. Only the shrooms smell bad.(i took them out since they are stilling melting) i will do the water change very week. Also i have a question about the sulphur release. how does that happen? I meant all the mushrooms do that?

the only other corals can touch red ones are green and blue shrooms.... and i have another red one set at other side of the tank. it's dying too.... man, don't know why.
