I have core duo on my m1710. It matters, it helps, its wonderful. You can see it when you watch performance, the two cores share the load and CPU load always seems to stay low because there are two. It doesn't matter much for work, but for multitasking and multithreaded programs it will.

Well, I have heard around here that microbubbles are bad as they stick to the gills and make it hard to breathe (something to that effect). I can't say I haven't seen tanks with bubbles, but apparently they don't do that for salt anymore. For me it seems the protein skimmer is doing enough...

Ahh there it is, back on the first picture where you have the profile of the CC you can see some crap in it. I'm going to guess, and bang guy, back me up if i get it right, that you should clean and siphon that gravel in addition to not using the UGF.

I have a 20 gallon and API test kit and my pH is 7.8. I also have CC which could be part of it. I get the feeling crushed coral may buffer the environment to 7.8. Not sure, but we'll see what others say, because I am curious. I am also happy to know that fish are ok in 7.8.
