Filthy algae is taking over my life.

Certain fish can be picky with food changes. I feed 3 diff types so the fish pick and choose. I feed spirulina brine, mysis, and hikari mega marine most often. I separate my macro bc my tangs would devour all of it. Your live stock wouldn't bother it so u could just place it in the tank

Filthy algae is taking over my life.

Freeze dried isn't the best nor is just brine. Maybe try frozen. Also some of the chemipure products may help suck out some nutrients. Macro algae could also help, in my tank the glass algae is winning currently tho lol. Need more snails.

Filthy algae is taking over my life.

Crushed coral is horrible. Its honestly probably part of the issue. Algae is generally fueled by excess nutrients. How much and what do you feed your fish.

    My seahorses

Horses are best in species only tanks. Low current and cool temps. Most people run chillers on horse tanks. There actual temp range is 65-68. Too cold for most other sw fish . Exceptions are pipe fish and draggonetts. In warmer water there prone to bacterial infections

All normal. The ph is fine at 7.8. Don't do anything except water changes. These will keep it consistent

Help!!! Any advice or comments would be very helpful!

Your high readings are fine its normal. They will drop. You've mentioned PH a few times and i keep meaning to address it. Ph is not critically important. It will vary with salt mixes, water , ect. You want it consistent more than anything

Iam sure it is cured rt now. Cured means all dead matter is removed. However during shipping some stuff may die again.

Help!!! Any advice or comments would be very helpful!

Its good rock but you will get some die off from shipping. So don't be surprised if your ammonia spikes again. This is fine bc you don't have live stock yet
