    Regal Tang Infection

Beth when you enlarge the pic and take a look at the lower clown it seems to be totally infected OR a really bad picture. That’s why I think a better one is needed before any drastic measures are taken FYI if you look at the whole picture is seems that there are white spots all over the glass

can i fo clams under my T5s

I am by no means saying you can keep a clam under T5s BUT if I were to attempt it I would go with a T. derasa, they can be found all the way down to around 80 feet, which means they require the least amount of light. I would position the clam as high up in my tank as I can

    Skimmer Output Placement

The problem I believe is that your heater is not keeping up with the heat loss of your tank. Ambient temp and evaporation. The new heater will most likely correct your temp problem as it is more powerful and I would suspect more sensitive to temp changes

A tank divided is a good thing.

For hobbyists just starting up a system I would like to make a suggestion. This is especially useful for larger tanks. Set up your tank so you have brakes in your rock work about every quarter of the way from left to right. Leave yourself a clear area where you can place a divider effectively...
