Yes he did. Do you have a link for that? I cannot find it online.

    Hmm...this doesn't sound good

Gonna change the oil in my generator and fill up the fuel tank this afternoon. That will be better than the last time I prepared for a hurricane, when I changed gasoline fuel in the tank with oil (true).

    Trump

The only reasonable response to a clown is to laugh at the absurdity of the act, which grew old months ago. However, one must never, EVER, feed the trolls. Now, if a billionaire wants to offer $5 million to see Romney's tax returns maybe we have something to talk about.

    I hate this part

After 6 days he emerged tonight, joined eagerly in the nightly feeding frenzy, and is hanging out peacefully with the rest of the gang. He's the same size as our fairy wrasse, so I was a little worried, but everybody is calm.

    help me!

Try nori. It is an herbivore, and would appreciate veggies. You can use a rubber band to attach the folded nori to a piece of rock and allow the fish to graze fora few hours.

    help me!

Absolutely, I did not mean to be rude or mean. I was posting from my cell phone, and I get very short when I have to use the virtual keyboard. The scat should be an interesting fish, peaceful and hardy. Also, in theory you don't have to worry about matching specific gravity of your change...

    I hate this part

I just added a sea grass wrasse, and as usual with wrasses, it quickly buried itself in the sand. It has been two days, and we haven't seen it again...yet. I hate this waiting. I had a melanarus that hid for 5 days, then emerged to die, and a christmas wrasse who stayed buried for a week...

    help me!

This looks like a brackish water scat. They can be accommodated to saltwater (in fact, they breed there, then move to brackish locations). It is an herbivore, and requires a tank of at least 50 gallons. First rule of saltwater fish keeping - do your research before you purchase a fish.

    QT Dragonet fish???????

My mandarin is from ORA, and it was completely uninterested in frozen foods until I saw a you-tube video of a tank full of mandarins at ORA being fed with a pile of ova, so I tried that, and it worked. The fish has been in my tank for about 6 months now, and still only takes ova from the pile...

    QT Dragonet fish???????

I turn off the pumps and put a small pile of roe on the bottom with a pipette. Sometimes he will eat right from the pipette tip.

    Starting my first salt aquarium

Pretty much the guy is offering a 90 gall bowfront, sump, lights, heater, rock, sand, and stand for $250.  Seems like a steal to me, even if the rock and sand are junk.  Should I tell him to keep the rock and sand, or should I take it and have some use for it somehow? Take the rock and use it...

    QT Dragonet fish???????

This would be an interesting discussion if the only disease that a new fish could bring into a tank were ich, but there are plenty of other parasites and infections that could be on a new fish friend that could be communicated to other fish in the tank. Go with quarantine, add pods frequently...

Hi. First Time SW Tank Owner.

My tangs eat nori from anything, but clips don't seem to hold the stuff adequately, and gets scattered all over the tank. I do better with nori rubber-banded to a rock after being rolled up. It lasts for up to 5 minutes then.

If the light is not absolutely nib, you should assume that the bulbs have been used to the point that their spectrum has shifted. For FOWLR this is no bog deal, but for photosynthetic corals the lights may not suffice. Check the price of replacement bulbs before you proceed (do it while sitting...

    Test Readings (Help)

Your ammonia should be at zero - I'm guessing the test is hard to read at low concentrations. Your alkalinity is low for reef, but you don' say what kind of tanks you have. Anyway, it is clear you have too many nutrients in both tanks - hence the algae. Reduce feeding, add chaeto, improve...

I've had my AWI Reekeeper for so long I don't know what model it is, but it has been great - highly recommended, reasonably priced, and replacement carts are reasonable too.
