my fish is 8" lg. eats and swims acts totally normal but has somethings growing on him. I would really appreciate some help if somebody knows what this is I tried to take a good picture but he would not sit still.

I just setup a oceanic 150 gallon with 2 overflows which I made the durso standpipes for. I put 1 250 watt heater in each over flow box do you think this is okay or should I put them in the tank next to the overflows?

this may sound stupid but do I need to add chemicals to an aggressive fish only tank with live sand like I would in my reef tank if so which ones?

I dont have any live rock in this tank I didnt plan on using any
