Yeah I don't like the idea of having to go get gallons of water a day Id rather get my own ro system if tap water is out of the question which it seems like it is

I just need a RO/DI unit, sand and live rock and I think I'll be ready for some fish.

But I thought the whole point of using RO/DI water was so the TDS levels would be at or near zero? I might just do the egg crate thing.

My ammonia and nitrites are at 0 but I thought the bacteria needed would be different in fresh and saltwater?

Do the ph swings affect fowlr tanks?

Its cycled for freshwater but I'm sure it's not the same as saltwater?

Do I need to completely drain my tank and refill with RODI water?

Wont the limestone and sand raise the ph to high
