He's lost a tremendous amount of color, and laying on the bottom of the tank is not a good sign; is the puffer breathing hard? If I were you I would put him in quarantine right away, until his condition improves.

That would be ok, make sure he washes it out.

This is a FRESHWATER plant, it is also the smallest flowering plant that we currently have identified. It grows well in ponds and as well as planted tanks. Along with the look, the plant also reduces nuisance algae as well as nitrite buildups. To cut to the chase I am selling 8oz bags for 15.00...

Get a koko worm, they have a hard tube, and in my opinion they look better.

Well with over one thousand dollars in stolen goods, I believe you have a case but it is up to you to pursue that option.
