It certainly won't hurt waiting. What convinced you to wait six months for corals though? I thought I read in advanced aquarist that you could put a couple corals in before fish. I could be totally wrong. I admire your discipline.

I took some pics of my fuge. My mangrove roots are really starting to take shape. It will prob take another month at least before it reaches the sand bed. I haven't decided if I'm going to let them grow in the sand bed or put them in some kind of container? Any suggestions?

Why do you really want to wait 6 months? I think once you have your parameters set and steady for a month I would start with a couple frags and go from there.

I have the same problem with my weir and all the snails. I'm using gutter guard but don't know how to attach it correctly. Right now I'm using zip ties and they re kinda working. What size down spouts do you have? Mine are 1.5" so even though the snails are in there its not enough to stop the flow.

Thank you! I dig the aquascape too. I already wish I had a deeper tank to do better scaping. Before you get too far I would make sure your 100% happy with your scaping before you start stocking it. You've worked too hard too long to just be "okay" with your scape.
