    Wrasse preferences ?

I have a Solar Fairy - reef safe. He is the tank garbage disposal. The boldest eater I've ever seen - sometimes a pain in the a#% when I'm feeding corals. He'll eat anything. I also have a six line. He's so cool and so low maintenance. Plus he'll eat flatworms!

What is a GFCI? I will take a stab at it though....ground fault circuit interrupter??? Don't even know if that makes sense...I'm the farthest thing from an electrician.

    Ecosystem question

Oh, also, if I did use a 1" sand bed, will the cleanup crew take care of everything so I don't need to worry about the maintenance? I know this is so for the dsb, just wanting to know if it's true for any depth sand bed?

    Ecosystem question

I have such a thin layer of CC that trapping the detritus isn't really an issue for me. I also try to have a lot of water movement in the tank including at the CC, so all that will get turned up anyway. I do worry that with sand and the current that the sand will stir up and cause a mess. I...

    Ecosystem question

They happen to have some of the best livestock in the country. People come from other states just to shop there. Their dry goods happen to be very expensive, but so are any LFS's - they have way more overhead than online stores, so I can't blame them. Their advice depends on who you get it...

    Ecosystem question

In respose to LeBoeuf, if people's arguments earlier in the post for not using a skimmer is that it takes the needed nutrients out of the water, then I don't understand you're argument that the hair algae will go away by the ecosystem taking away the nutrients. The two statements contradict one...

    Ecosystem question

I have used an ecosystem for a couple of years now. I do wish I had done one myself and saved the money, but oh well. I would seriously recommend using a skimmer as well. My experience and others and LFS's is that over time, you will get algae problems, most often hair algae, especially the...

    Camera Question for RyeBread

My camera came with their own organizing and editing software, as well as with photoshop 5.0 LE. I was surprised with the photoshop inclusion...bonus! I'm sure most cameras come with their own versions of editing software, but I should defer to Rye on this one. Here's an even cuter picture...

oops, I also forgot to ask if there are any free web hosting services and if so, what's the best one? And if linking the image to that site, does the image size need to be constrained to either the 100kb max for attachements, or the ~600x450 size? Sorry for all the questions, new with the...
