well there really isnt any options for compact. you can get some 10k daylight, or the Current bulbs that is a 10x/6500k bulb..then you have an actinic and the better current bulb thats a 420nm/430nm bulb so if you want better bulbs the Current USA bulbs are the best ones I believe..but thats...

I disagree..with the new Nova Extreme lights that have the individual reflectors. With some good par bulbs like the BluePlus bulbs it would sustain SPS no problem from mid to higher in the tank.

why not just get an Oceanic 30g cube..its 20x20x20

not with some good ATI and Giesemann bulbs..might not be able to keep at the bottom but midway up to the top would be just fine

if its the old one with single reflector then you can have anything but SPS, and clams if its the new one with the individual reflectors then you can keep pretty much anything with some better bulbs

well if its only a mantis tank and no corals or anything. I wouldnt worry about it. they are not going to harm the mantis. I believe it shouldnt hurt the mantis cause people have used it on reef tanks with other shrimp and such. Just follow directions suck out as many as you can visibly and suck...
